|The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science or a related field at the time of appointment. An earned degree field in one or more of the following areas is desirable: nutrition, physiology, genetics, reproduction, mastitis control and/or production/management in dairy cattle. The successful candidate must have ability and interest in teaching people in all stages of development in topics pertaining to dairy production and management and must have practical hands-on experience with dairy cattle. The ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form is required. The position requires extensive contact with Georgia Dairy Industry clientele, youth and undergraduate students; therefore, the candidate must be able to effectively teach and interact with people in widely varying circumstances. |
