The School of Agricultural Sciences & Forestry at Louisiana Tech University is home to 15 faculty, 3 laboratory supervisors, 3 support staff, and 5 farm/facility staff. We serve approximately 420 students enrolled in Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Forestry, and Geographic Information Science degree programs with optional concentrations in Plant Science, Pre-veterinary Medicine, Equine Science, Livestock Production, Wildlife Habitat Management, and Forest Management. The School offers unparalleled opportunities for experiential learning, research, and outreach. Laboratories for anatomy, nutrition and physiology, meat sciences, and geospatial technology are complemented by a comprehensive agricultural facility that features a working farm, greenhouses, horticulture garden, arboretum, farm salesroom, and species-specific farm units (equine, beef, small ruminant, and swine) (https://ans.latech.edu/research-outreach/tech-farm-labs/).
