Research Molecular Biologist/Geneticist (Animals)/Animal Scientist, GS-0401/0440/0487-14/15 Salary Range of $116,393 to $177,978 Per Year Announcement Open: August 1, 2023, through August 30, 2023   The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Plant Genetics Research Unit (PGRU) in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Research Molecular Biologist//Geneticist (Animals)/Animal Scientist. The scientist will work in a multi-disciplinary team necessary to conduct research toward development of pigs or poultry with improved traits of interest to the swine and/or poultry industry using gene editing techniques. The scientists will use gene editing and other technologies to systematically alter DNA sequences predicted to improve traits
