The successful candidate will become part of a team of scientists and support staff working in beef cattle research and education involving nutrition and management of beef cows and calves and feedlot growing and finishing. The individual selected will be expected to: Participate in planning, conducting, summarizing and presenting practical and progressive research projects focusing on ruminant nutrition, livestock management, environmental issues, health, carcass quality, and economics of livestock production in North Dakota. Participate in husbandry activities such as feeding feedlot cattle and beef cows, calving beef cows, and health care along with logistics planning for feed and other supplies.
