Assistant/Associate Professor of Animal Science – Equine Management
The Animal Science major in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences serves over 700 animal science students including approximately 200 equine-specific majors. The Campus Farm consists of 130 acres primarily devoted to horse operations and houses 60 to 110 horses at any given time including a lesson horse herd, a broodmare herd, youngstock, colts, and off-the-track Thoroughbreds. The farm is student-oriented with the primary responsibility to offer educational programs for undergraduate students in teaching and research. In addition, the equine program includes several competitive teams. It is the only equine farm in the UW-System. More information can be found at: https://www.uwrf.edu/academics/cafes
