Assistant or Associate Professor of Animal Science in Livestock Microbiome.
New Mexico State University (NMSU) Department of Animal & Range Sciences seeks a 9 month Assistant or Associate Professor of Animal Science in Livestock Microbiome. The appointment will be research (75%) and teaching (25%) that includes classroom and possible remote teaching responsibilities in the Department of Animal and Range Sciences. The successful applicant will develop an innovative research program including but not limited to beef cattle as related and affected by gut health and the animal microbiome oriented toward improving animal health, performance, food-safety, and minimizing the environmental impact of New Mexico’s animal industries.
