Director of Equine Sciences and Wagonhound Land and Livestock Chair
The Department of Animal Sciences at Colorado State University supports Colorado’s vast and diverse equine and livestock industries and is responsible for educating approximately 1000 undergraduate and 60 graduate students annually. Programs of study are offered to students majoring in Equine Science and Animal Science. The Equine Science major is supported by nationally recognized teaching, research, and outreach programs and consists of 12 faculty members and roughly 325 undergraduate and graduate students. The CSU main campus sits at the eastern base of the Rocky Mountains one hour north of metro Denver. This location offers excellent access to transportation, all outdoor interests, and a broad cross-section of equine and livestock industries and their trade
